September 19, 2021: On the occasion of the Amoris Laetitia Family year, the Girl Child Sunday was celebrated at Our Lady of Health Church Shirva. Fr. Denis D’Sa celebrated the Holy Eucharist and preached homily on the day’s readings as well as the role of a girl child in the family. It was followed by a talk on Health and Hygiene by Dr. Mrs. Leena Sequeira, Principal, School of Nursing Manipal. Around 75 girls from the age group of 12 – 18 years. Rev. Fr. Nelson Peris, Rev. Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Mrs. Maria Jacintha Mathias were present on the occasion.

August 30, 2021: A team of 30 YCS members along with Rev. Fr. Denis D’sa, Rev. Fr. Nelson and Animators Sr. Lucy Pais and Mrs Maria Jacintha Mathias went on a pilgrimage to St. Joseph’s Church Belman on the occasion of the year dedicated to St. Joseph. The team was accorded a warm welcome by Rev. Fr. Edwin D’Souza, Parish Priest of Belman. The team then celebrated the Holy Eucharist. Fr. Ivan Martis preached a meaningful homily on the life of St. Joseph. This was followed by a tour of the museum on the life of St. Joseph. The team then had an entertaining and informative quiz in the audio visual room. The program concluded with a sumptuous lunch and a vote of thanks.

 

 

 

February 11, 2021: Msgr. Hilary Gonsalves Rangamantap was renovated and inaugurated by V. Rev Fr. Denis D’sa.

February 3, 2021: The Annual Feast of Our Lady of Health Church Shirva was celebrated with devotion.
