Adult catechism, based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, for the people of God. This will be held 15 minutes prior to every mass.

May 31, 2023: ICYM Shirva organized the Holy Rosary and Mass in front of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto at Our Lady of Health Church Shirva premises at 5 pm on the occasion of May, the month dedicated to Mother Mary. Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie D’Souza offered the Holy Mass, and Rev. Fr. Ronson Pinto gave the homily. Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Aranha was also present during this occasion. The Holy Rosary was conducted by the ICYM members, and the parishioners participated with great devotion, seeking Mother Mary’s blessings.

May 19, 2023: Rev. Fr. Ronson Pinto has taken charge as the new Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva. Fr. Ronson was welcomed by V. Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza, Parish Priest; Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Assistant Parish Priest; Mr. Melwyn Aranha, Vice President of PPC; Mrs. Flavia D’Souza, Secretary of PPC; Mrs. Leena Machado, 20 Commission Convenor; Sr. Letitia Pais; members of the finance committee; and Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), along with other Shirva parishioners. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monteiro, Parish Priest of St. Sebastian Church, Bendur, and the parishioners of Bendur also came to bid farewell to Fr. Ronson.

May 14, 2023: A farewell program was organized by Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva to Rev. Fr Nelson Peris, Assistant Parish Priest who will be taking charge as the Assistant Director of St. Anthony Ashram, Jeppu, Mangalore shortly. All the parishioners of Shirva congratulated and wished him the best.
