April 23, 2023: Naidod’s Vado Divas was celebrated by the Vado members. All the families from the ward participated in the Sunday 7:15 am mass to celebrate the Liturgy and experience Spirituality. A formal function was held at Mrs. Precilla M. Dsouza’s house. Function began by invoking Prayer led by Stella Fernades. Rev. Fr. Nelson Peris Assistant Parish Priest gave Gospel Reflection. Ward Gurkar – David Benjamine Mathias welcomed All. Former Ward Gurkar Richard Menezes was felicitated by the Parish Priest and Assistant Parish Priests for his 11 years of service as ward Gurkar. Dr. Renita Monis was honored for her PhD from VTU Belagavi. Captain Noel Lobo, Disha Mathias, Evan Jude Dsouza, Ivan Dsouza, and Aurell Saldanha were felicitated. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the singing and Bible quiz.

The Parish Priest, V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie D’souza, addressed the gathering and gave his wishes for Vado Divas. The Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Aranha, offered the ‘Prayer before Meals. The Superior of Auxilium convent Shirva Sr. Lima Rose and Sr. Jamma, Shirva Parish Pastoral Council Secretary Mrs. Flavy Dsouza, 20 commission Coordinator Mrs. Leena Machado, Neighbouring Ward Gurkars were present during this occasion. M. J. Mathias compered the program and Jovita Mendonca proposed the formal vote of thanks. Vado Divas ended with lunch.

April 12, 2023: Irmiz Annual Feast was celebrated with devotion at 10:30 AM. Rev. Fr. Jerald Sandeep D’Mello, Parish Priest, Palimar Parish was the main celebrant. V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie D’Souza, Parish Priest Shirva, Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Fr. Nelson Peris, Fr. Melwyn (SDB) and Fr. Louis Vas were present.

April 08, 2023: Easter vigil mass was celebrated at Shirva Parish with devotion. V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie D’Souza, Parish Priest was the main celebrant who blessed the new fire. Rev. Fr. Nelson Peris, Rev. Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Rev. Fr. George Pinto, Rev. Fr. Leandro, Don Bosco Youth Centre and Rev. Fr. James, Don Bosco Youth Centre were a part of the Holy Eucharist.

April 07, 2023: Good Friday ceremony was held at Shirva Parish. Rev. Fr. Rolwin Aranha was the main celebrant. V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie D’Souza, Rev. Fr. Nelson Peris and Rev. Fr. George Pinto were a part of this ceremony.

April 07, 2023: Live Way of Cross was observed at St. Mary’s Grounds from 10 AM. Many devotees including the parish priests were a part of this practice.
